Educational Tools For Visually Impaired Individuals

Professor Boguslawa (Bob) Marek has been working as a volunteer teaching English to Blind Children for a number of years.  One day while talking to a blind child, Bob said to him “you must be glad to be going home for the weekend”.  ‘No” replied the child.  “Why?” asked Bob. “Because when I go home, I have no one to play with.” 
Never forgetting those words Professor Bob set out to design educational materials that were both effective teaching tools but also attractive educational toys.  This brought about the creation of “Hungry Fingers”.   The first two of his products are being introduced here.

TRANSOGRAPH (A combination of Transform and Graphics) 
An educational tool for explaining the relation between 3 dimensional models and 2 dimensional drawings.  Easily  transforms models of different objects into tactile outlines, helping a blind learner understand what happen when a 3 dimensional object is represented as graphics on a flat sheet of paper.

CLEVER TRIAGLES
A variety of various triangles with different tactile feeling that have a magnetic backing.  When combined with an adjustable easel containing a magnetic surface, the triangles can be manipulated  to create a variety of different shapes.  Templates are included to assist the learning process in the beginning.
